everything looks good except the turbine. you wanna stay away from SSAutoChrome. good turbines to look at are Garrett and GReddy, Turbonetics...ect. like this

if ur willing to drop the money for a Full-Race downpipe...they make a 4" one for Bs. you might have to get one of their manifolds for it to fit tho...and their manifolds are miles off of being cheap.

dads thrown the turbo idea out for now, hes got a co-worker who has a civic with nitrous in place of the back seats tellin him that gsr shouldnt be turbo'd cuz of the pistions not havin enough room, although that would be corrected or fine once i rebuilt the engine a bit and if i got a good tune, but since hes the man of the house, he makes the decisions. so for now its CAI and some exhaust, and visuals, maybe later he'll come around to the idea of a turbo

Not to come off like a know-it-all but judging by your posts you lack knowledge of turbos and such. I suggest coming on this site and learning like we all do everyday, and then you will be able to educate your pops about turbos and why its a good idea. Give it a few months and you will be amazed by the amount of things you learn. Upon my joining of this site I didnt know too much about turbos.........and now im the moderator of the section...........You definetly found a great place to gain some info. Welcome aboard, start taking notes.

your dads co-worker is ignorant and probably doesnt know anything about anything...or at least FI on civics. pistons not having enough room? wtf does that mean?

yea i know i dont know much, but ive learnt enough to know that nothins gonna go wrong if i do it right, and yea i dont know what hes talkin about either my dad has selective hearing, chose not to listen to much about what the guy said with horsepower and only chose to listen to the visuals.. hes all about safety and he thinks my car is really fast as it is. so when he was explaining to me what the guy said it sounded like this " oh well he thought u should get some sort of intake im not sure.. he said somthing about a sri and a cai but im not sure he mentioned a spefic type of head unit to get but it was somethin like.. oh i forget, but you do know what he did say, u could change this this and this with your lights and replace it with that that and that...." i dont know why hes listening to the guy if hes not going to "listen"

edit: it also doesnt help that my dad doesnt know a fraction of what i know, so the guy who just blew his engine running to much nitrous, is somehow a fountain of good information...

so yea, i realize i dont know my stuff, im learning, ive already learnt a ton more, ive just been pumped to put stuff in since ive gotten the car. and this post was essentially to gain info and an idea of what i should be lookin at. so after some time, and a little bit more money, ill post some gains, in the mean time, i have some persuading/ researching to do, thnx for all the help
