Why is the b16 even an option?

My vote is personally on the h22, but I'm a sucker for h-swaps. Not to mention it'll be cheaper than a GSR swap.

 

im iffy on the fitment on the h22's i like the b18 esp. since you can get more parts for them imo.

 

^ what about the fitment on the h22? You have to persuade one of the frame rails to move over about half an inch and the h22 drops right in. It's when you run an h2b that you get those lovely fitment issues that force you to raise the back of your hood. But yeah, there's a ton more aftermarket support for the b18, but don't get me wrong; if you look around, there's a decent amount of support for the h22 as well.

A 2.2L has more torque that a 1.8L, I would that that should help you make your decision.

 

torque is a lovely thing in a econobox like a civic

 

not reading 3 pages of this but i can tell you first hand that if this helps the SRT-4 manifold WILL bolt up to a 420a engine (95-99 eclipse/talon etc). not sure if any honda ex mani bolt patterns are the same or similar but hope this helps.

has to be the n/a 2g. also if he wants to run it he'll have to get a different upper radiator hose. but it's a good lil turbo for quick spool and good up to like 300whp.
