On low boost you can safely run the afc hack, but you still have to get it tuned. Pollito from turbod16 has been running the hack at 9psi with a T3 .42/.4 for over 3 years and hasn't had any problems, but he got it proffsionally tuned.

 

his problem is that his pops wont skoot the money for the tune lol... sux to be a kid with no money these days

dude the dx motor thing aint funny man i had to drive an lx 4 door with the same engine for 4 months and to top it off it was an auto slow as hell but now im thinkin im gonna drop in my dsm 450s and run the afc hack for maybe a day or two just to c if my swap is done right and nothin falls of then ill park it till i can get myecu chipped and use a basemap to get it to a dyno tuner to tune it rightim sure i can convince my dad to put down the extra 100 bucks to get the ecu chipped but how much u think the tuning will be like 150 or 200 hope not much more and ya it sucks bein a kid without any money but the job things kinda out got two a days for football sucks *** havin no car for that too ****

 

i suggest not doing anything to your car if you're relying on your dad to hook up the car. and is this car going to be yours or his?

 

technically hell own it but itll be mine to drive and i aint relyin on him to do it all well he fronts alot of the cash for the things i need and he did buy it for me but i did alot like put the engine in the turbo install so far the exhaust and all the other little **** that was wrong when we got it all in all its both of our cars and has been a great learning experience for me

 

baahhh, i used to play football in highschool and I still worked on the weekends when we didn't have any weekend games.

for the tuning price, it really depends on how well of a basemap you have and whether the person tuning is good. Tuners usually charge around 150-200 an hour, so get yourself a good basemap.

 

all ican really do is tell him the info he wants and list my mods as precisely as possible the rest is up to him but at that price i hope i dont take more than an hour
