Turbo surge and lag
How bad is the turbo surge on 7 - 9 psi and the lag?
This was one thing i forgot to ask before i got my SC because i read somewhere that it can be hard and cause you to crash... which kinda lead me the SC way.

RE: Turbo surge and lag
i had read this article awhile back talkin about steer racing. To cut it short the kid was racing, crashed into a tree and was asked some questions by a police officer. He told them that he thought he had control of his car then all of a sudden it just surged forward twisting the wheel and he crash into the tree.
Now i am askin is this for real. Or was it some story made up to stop street racing. Cause i read this and thought it was true and it gave the final push i needed to go the SC route since its more predictable.

RE: Turbo surge and lag
a supercharger doesn't have any lag or surge... it's instant boost that remains constant throughout the whole rpm range. A turbo has lag. Turbos usually kick in at (II'm all-motor, so correct me if I'm wrong) somewhere around 3,000 rpm. Also, I doubt it's enough to cause a crash, even in all-out racing vehicles.
