Default turboing my stock gsr

I had my b18c1 tuned earlier this summer with I/h/e with stock cat and made 168whp and 126wtq but that just isn't enough for me... Lol so I've been going back and forth between just doing cams and intake manifold and tune but I've heard that'll only get me about 10whp ... My other thought was to go turbo and try making 275-300whp. But everyone says its super expensive and is hard to do. I just don't see neither... Lol how hard would it be to hit 300 whp in my stock internal b18c1 compression test was 220 on all cylinders

Not hard IMO. Tuning would be key of course!

Any idea on what turbo you want to run for that 300hp goal?

Nice to see someone asking "How can I get to 300whp?", rather than the usual, "How much boost can I put into the motor?"

Sounds like you are up on your research

I'm not.sure on turbo yet. Was told anything 57 trim.will be good. I have researched but still researching. . Psi means nothing haha and I've watched a stock Gsr with worse compression than mine hit 396 whp so 300 should be easy and safe

lol, I wouldn't exactly call 300hp on a stock block honda "safe". Sure, its been done, but how long it lasts is really only a matter of time. Could be 4 years, could be 4 months, really all depends on your tuner and the health of your engine before turboing it.

Just sayin'. Our honda's weren't built for boost. ;D

Personally, I'd never turbo a stock block honda unless I had a spare engine sitting in my garage with a nice set of forged guts ready to go in. But, thats just me. I'm pretty hard on cars.

Well 300 is the max power I wanna get. And my engine has 220 psi compression on all cylinders.

300 is doable on a B series without many problems. As always, the tune must be good to have a lasting motor.
