I think i'm gonna be the grand smart *** today. I'm almost positive that his car does not have a distributor or spark plug wires. I know that my friend's civic (01-05) uses a coil on plug ignition. It has 4 ignition coils, one for each spark plug. You can't really play with the ignition timing because there is no distributor to turn. You can't change the plug wires because it doesn't have any. You could get an intake, headers, and an exhaust.
That picture is off a 2004 Civic, i'm assuming the 06s have a similar system.

And DJYosha, you need to cool your jets. I don't think that remmy intended to insult you when he corrected your statement. We are all learning here, none of us woke up one day and knew everything there was to know about cars. You gotta realize that you are wrong and admit it. I've been wrong before and so have all of us, nothing to be ashamed of.

New topic of discussion. There are two ways to make your car faster. The first way is to get more power out of your engine. There is a second, more ignored way. This is to reduce the weight. Maybe this is something you should consider? I do understand that you just bought the car and you prolly don't want to rip the car apart trying to lighten it. Thats just a thought, but i think it might be a bad idea. Another thing you can try is to make your car handle better. I do understand that you have a very new car, i don't know if anyone makes suspension for your car. But keep an eye out for some stuff. A set of strut braces will prolly make your car handle better. A performance suspension system such as tien, bilstein, tokico, etc... might also help. That last one won't be cheap. Also, lowering your car will give you better handling as well. But all this stuff might be kind of hard, just trying to throw some ideas out.
Just make sure, whatever you do, don't do something that'll void your warranty...I highly doubt that you paid cash in full, so that warranty matters. Read the terms, talk to your stealer, make the right choice

its called the transitave property of spark plugs.
if a=b and b=c then a=b
therefore, if big spark=efficient and efficient=power then big spark=power.
no offense but you kinda contridicted yourself.
geometry rocks

spark will not give you more power... it makes you more effecient... being effecient gives you power

I don't think anyone makes a turbo for the 06. Yet. I know that the Tein made a really badass Civic Si. Well its badass looking, looks like it has a turbo. It was on a magazine, which i didn't buy.
