wat kit for H22a

RE: wat kit for H22a
In a previous H22 swap into a civic, we had to cut and alter the firewall to make the motor fit nicely into the engine bay; even with the new motor mounts. Not much cutting, but, enough to be annoying. Something to think about as well in your budget/install.

I don't really know, I've heard it will hit full boost at 4300, 4700, we'll just have to see I guess. Every application is different after all. Another update though, I am getting a newly designed manifold from SS, they sent it out today. They also said they were coming out with a ball bearing turbo, not sure If I get to try that or not though so I guess we'll see. For all who care I had a really bad day yesterday, my nissan 200 had a rod bearing break or something cuz there is a rod bouncing around like a pinball, so bye bye daily driver [:@] VERY frustrating. I'll talk at you guys soon.

The only problem I've ever had with H22 swaps is the alternator not clearing the lower crossmember, so you have to beat the s**t out of it with a hammer and dent it just enough for the alternator to clear.

RE: wat kit for H22a
I have an h22 civic. Its 35lbs heavier than the GSR so no big deal on that part. And actually when adding aftermarket I/H/DP/E/clutch/flywheel that extra 35lbs is gone. Also, handling..ppl may say im crazy but i went from d16z6 to JDM h22a swap and I actually have better handling. Will drop you car a couple inches in the front so I just raised my back to where it was with the d16z6 so no biggy at all. Yeah, you'll def. have fun with the h22 its amazing motor and fun. Just if your car is already lowered, I highly recommend you gettin a camber kit if you don't already have one or else your axles will not be straight and crazy outta wack and well with all that power you want your axles straight..or else you'll go thru axles like me..I've had mine for almost a month and already gone thru 2. But I just put a camber kit on and stage 3 axles (600whp) and there not breaking anymore or snapping any boots anymore.
Yeah thats a lot, i could tell you more..but if you have questions just PM man. I can answer them for you and help you out if u need it.

do not put more than 7-8 psi in the h22. it will break . simple as that.
the sleeves are not strong like the b series. they are aluminum and fiber wrapped and will break. sleeve it and boost it. if you dont have the money then drop a K series with a mild turbo kit and have more fun.
