Im new 2 turboed cars and i was just thinkin what do ya do with thevacuum assisted brakes when you have boost with a turbo/ supercharger. help with this problem would be much appreciated. Ps this problem exists inmy 1991 Honda CRX 1.6 DOHC (D16A8) Thanks Hoffy

It doesnt have an affect on the brakes

 

A) Brake booster line has a one way check valve.
B) You're not in boost when you hit the brakes.

 

turbos dont usually affect brakes....are the vaccuum lines interfering with the turbo in some way?

Yesvacuum assisted brakes. thats that little tube that runs from ya master cylinder to the intake manifold. Vacuum assisted brakes need vac not boost.

 

A) One way check valvevac & boost would travel the same way.hows that? B) u might be under boost. i think u will be. By the way that makes it unroad worthy.
