what turbo?

I just think you are starting from in a hole with them. I would really look into a K24 swap atleast if I had a 01+ civic.

I am talking from a building it to be real fast standpoint. Plus I would put my N/A JDM D15B powered 98 4 door with just bolt ons against any bolt on D17 civic. I was running in the mid 15's with it up around 85 to 86mph traps. The thing that is killing 7th gens and will kill 8th gens are that they weigh to much, my car even being a sedan weighs in like a hatch(I weighed mine at a truck stop with a full tank of gas and me in it at 2415lbs)
BTW the new SOHC R18's are a gem, I cant wait to see what they do modded

In all reality a Z6 can go far beyond 200whp daily driven on a good tune. Give me a few minutes and I will dig up a guys dyno from a stock bottom end Z6 pulling 301whp and he has drove it like that for 7000 miles and has absolutly no problems
*EDIT*
308whp/262wtq

I have been running 12.1 @ 112 with only 258whp this season. The best I could run with the new power was 12.0 @ 117. It is going to take some time to get the setup right but I believe it will go 11.7-11.6 with more seat time and a LSD.
Yes, the times were on 23x8.5x15 M&H slicks. The car weighs 2290 lbs. with me in it. This engine has lasted 7000 miles of daily driving and 100 passes at the track this year. Jeff and I are curious how the engine will hold up with the extra power. So far there have been no problems. I will be building a Manley rod, CP piston stock sleeve bottom end this winter. The stock engine will be staying in until the limits are found.
So MD When i get my 5 speed swap and go to those uberdata pro tuners in upstate NY......is 200WHP daily driven a safe number? I like pushing the envelope, but id def be happy with 200 whp and a reliable boosted car.
