I would say around $3500 to $4000 if you did all the work. But it is key to atleast swap a K20A3(02+ SI) head on and a K20A transmission. The head design on the K24 is nice and works well but you would have to deal with the DBW or Drive By Wire system that comes with it. I have pondered the swap myself but plan to take the JDM D15B as far as I can with a mild build(arp head studs, forged rods, OE pistons coated with ceremic, tuned with AEM EMS on a GT28DBB or a T3/T4 60 trim.)

dam, I knew I was getting into major money with modding out my car, but soon as I looked into turbo/super-charger's and swaps, I doupt I'll be able to afford it. And it seems sorta pointless dropping 5 grand on my car, and only have i/h/e and a engine chip... damit
Dude I would not buy a Cobra for nothing, I test drove one and it felt just like a 20 year old car with a lil more power. I can stay nose to nose with them with a good clutch in my Formula till about 70mph and I bought my car for $4000. If you go American go with like a 02 SS M6 or a 02 WS6. I got a buddy with a 02 SS M6 that is at 12.7's with nothing done other than a "lid" and better tires.
