the sunset one has to much contrast that you did to it. and the turtle looks better.

he's giving u good advice. thats what happens when ppl post "stylish" picsto share. most photographers are always looking for C&C, either bad or good to become better.

So yeah i got a new camera, Canon Xti with 18-55mm lens kit, today was my first day shooting with it. Its a lot different from my old fujifilm camera. I didnt really like how this one turned out but its the only good one i got today. I went out late and lighting was poor in alot of areas. Oh yeah, i also got a new lens on order. Sigma 18-125mm with lens hood and clear filter. We'll see how that turns out.

ef4life - i like that first one...did you have to go in and lasso each of the areas once you got to the parts over the beer and lime? or is there some feature that will try and figure it out for you? i've never used cs3..i have 2 though..no clue what the differences are.

rice - you'll get the hang of it. when i first got my rebel xt, my pictures sucked. it was my first digital camera that wasn't some cheap no name brand camera.. just keep playing around with it, and you'll be surprised to see how much you'll improve. i'm still no pro or anything, but i would say i've grown by leaps and bounds compared to where i was.
