rice - you'll get the hang of it. when i first got my rebel xt, my pictures sucked. it was my first digital camera that wasn't some cheap no name brand camera.. just keep playing around with it, and you'll be surprised to see how much you'll improve. i'm still no pro or anything, but i would say i've grown by leaps and bounds compared to where i was.
Yea, i seem like a n00bie again. Feels like im starting all over again. Im sort of getting the hang of it. It will take a while before I would get used to this camera.

not the best pics..they were taken with one hand and on auto focus. took my snake out for a bit before giving it some food.

has grown quite a bit since i bought the snake..was close to a foot long and is now just at 3 feet long. still as docile as ever though.

^ That is cool as hell. I know what you are talking about. You see the sky and by the time you get your camera its almost over. Magic......

I also would love to be able to catch that "right as the sun is setting" blue. Does anyone know the blue that I am talking about. The deep blue that you see through the trees right after the sun has disappeared over the horizon.

I think i know the color you're referring to, but i prefer the "red sky at night" look i want to get one of those shots... oh and btw if all goes right i may be getting a new camera in the not so distant future, guy i work with is getting a Canon Rebel XTi, and selling his XT for $400 so i'm gonna pick it up from him... if i beat my other coworker to the punch lol
