Jesus christ i am glad i don't live in Ontario... pisses me off that they are being sucks ***'s toward the tuner crowd.. if you see someone driving down town with an oldschool Camaro, or a Dodge viper people go "oooh nice car" but if you drive down that same section of street in a moddified Civic people go " what a **** tard go put your money into something useful" where as IT IS THE EXCAT SAME THING!!! you are spending your money on a car you love. another thing, if you see two people in muscle cars or exotics street racing zuyou don't hear anything about it, but a tuner car.. by god you wouldn't hear the end of it

 

Please someone tell me I heard it incorrectly. He said that aside from street racing, the car will also be taken away and destroyed for "tricking it out, or driving them." Since when is tuning and driving an import illegal? (He didn't say AND, he said OR)

Anyway, I'm not for street racing, but wrecking them is just a waste. Why not sell them and use the money to prosecute the racers? Or to put into something productive? Hell, part them out so they'll never be whole again. This is just a very immature waste.

 

You're right, it is very immature. Even more when you think that they could have crushed it somewhere else like in a junkyard or something, rather than beside a road in a freakin' electrical post field. They called in a bulldozer, put the cars one beside the other, called a news crew and some police for background. Completely ridiculous...

 

OMG dont even get me started on this!!!!!!....street racing was really bad in ontario (where im from) about a month ago and there was soooo much crap started over it and this was one thing that they did to try and scare street racers...****ing government, im so happy its all blowen over now

 

No it's more so about you street race and you pay the price. I for one think that you could die and kill people when doing something as stupid as "seeing what your car can do" on public road where other people drive such as mother's with their children and othe rs that are mature/have a ful life infront of them. People do not need to street race period. Looking at those options.........die/kill < get your car taken away. It is all about growing up an when behind the wheel of a 2000+lb moving wepon(which is what it is when you are driving like a retard) you need to be a lil more mature than your street racing type people are.

 

its not done to be mature or to make money, they are doing it to help stop street racing, and you guys cant tell me that wont work. if you start seeing fixed up cars get crushed on the tv for racing, are you really going to keep doing it? they have talked about doing that in cali too. really stop and imagine watching your car get crushed, and tell me its worth it to street race. screw that, I will keep mine on the track.

you can say that civics are a dime a dozen... but so werent a lot of cars back in the day that are worth 20 times what they where originally.

 

Well simply put dont street race and you dont have to worry about it. People are dieing out here, this is not F&F or some video game this is people's lives, this is your life. A car does not compare to that I am sorry, I dont care what car.
