The srt-4 in my opinion is an awesome car inside and out. It's not just a neon, just like an sti isn't just an impreza. Its turbo'd, and pushing a hella more horsepower than an sxt. The cars are built strong and are great for hp and having a car with a lot of get up for whatever you want it for. Why must you dog on him for liking the srt-4, people on here with V8's would have trouble hanging with that car, simply put, that neon has that hp and should have respect. I also agree with saying we drive honda's which are not performance cars...so the guy calling his car just a "neon", put his "neon" that you would never drive up against your civic, his foot would be so far up your booty that you'd be choking on it. IMO, and that is IMO the srt-4 isn't just a neon, just like the sti isn't just an rs impreza.

I dont know if any of you are familar with AMS. But these are the guys who are building my motor in my SRT4, I can expect similar numbers when I get my engine back in a month or so.

I'd like to see an AMS SRT4 keep up with an AMS EVO on anything but a dyno or rolling start.

the only numbers that matter are your 60ft 1/4 mile et. and trap speed. Power is not the limitation, traction is. Id rather have a 400 hp car that can turn 10.80s than a 900 hp car than can only pull 11s
