Civic vs Skyline

oh, and to say that if he has the money to buy one, he has the money to mod the hell out of it is rediculous. i could afford to go buy an r32 gtr from moto-rex right now, but i would have NO money for mods. but i could afford the car just fine.

yeah i totally agree with you forty but im just saying if they have enough money to own a skyline i doubt they arent going to tune it.
now i wasnt trying to talk down to you or anything, but i hate using other computers now that i am used to this monitor. im not even bragging, its an old tube style one, it was a hand-me down for a new flat one my in-laws got. still works great though, and who can complain about a free 21" Sony monitor thats only been used MAYBE a year, right? but if your girl is satisfied with a 9 incher, thats up to her........

Not always true. The Ferrari Enzo that Car&Driver test drove was owned by a guy who refused to drive it more than twice a month because he couldn't afford the brake replacement on it ($17,000). I know a Skyline is quite a bit less and the basic mods are no where that much, but I just thought I'd throw this example out there. In general I'd have to agree with what you say. If they're under 20 and own a vehicle like that, then they're a member of DMM (Dad's Money Motorsports) in my opinion.
