i dont think the Vpier was catching up THAT quick. if you look at the headlights on the ground, you can see more clearly the distance between them. i think the civ could have held him off for at least a 1/4. but try as we might, it will be awhile before we get our civs that can hang with the "supercars" over 130-140mph. our gearing holds us back a lot.

 

Yea, it didnt look like the viper was going to nail it.

 

Hi Guys and Gals...
Wish to put this out there as a thought for all to read, most all of us own one or another kind of Honda-but how many of us out here can afford to own a Viper??

Point is Honda Cars are a many while Vipers are only a few...put the right person in a Viper with the driving experience and then you have a hopped up Honda guy with a sweet runing Viper doing the same thing..wining some races...

BTW I live my life a 1/4 mile at a time! Takes me a while to get there though!

street fire owns me. THat Cheezfrog guy they refer to, that drives that civic, is actually a pretty cool guy. And yes, that car is fast as crap. I never put two and two together when i watched that clip the first time, but there are a lot of Cheezfrog slaying random car vids out there.
