Ah yes, good brawl. I've seen that several times before. In my opinion the refs let it get out of hand. I love when roy comes in.

They've taken a TON of "old school hockey" elements out of the game over the last ten years, and I dont forsee that stopping anytime soon. I dont agree with all of it, but some rules have changed things for the better. When was the last time you heard of someone getting speared. Theres also the drastic decrease of checks from behind. Both of which used to be huge problems until they started mixing up the rules..

I guess the point to my banter is that Hockey is really fun to watch, and no matter what they change, I will be right there on the couch, beer in hand, screaming at the players as if they can hear me
