It's called flocking. Basically, you cover the material in a sort of glue. Then through an electrostatic process you apply the fuzzy stuff. It's really nice. He flocked the valve cover too.

Those wheels are BEAUTIFUL. Polished konig retracks im guessing? I will have to keep an eye out for those.

 

^limited edition polished retracks, yes. They were BEAUTIFUL to see in person. Silvery rims with gold lugs.
