I did the same exact thing when I rented a mazda6. I also did it in a bimmer a few times. You don't really need a high powered car to do these shenanigans. Te funny thing is that it leaves really small marks on the pavement

what gear did u get up to while doing that? Were u in 4th!? And im suprised your could breathe with all that smoke, looked pretty sweet though!

yaa, i got it into 4th twice but it would bog so low that i felt it would not be able to hold on so i clicked 'er back into 3rd both times.. you can hear it... the bog, then the blip, then the rise in rpm...

holy crap..that was sooo much smoke!, i dont no how you could of sat inside that car with all that, that was soo sweat tho

I've always wondered how you do burnouts in a FWD. I have an auto however.

easy as pie. Here's how I did it on a mazda6:

1. Pull an e-brake
2. Do a neutral drop and floor it
3. Enjoy the smoke!

If you don't want to do a neutral drop and your car has a bit of power - you can also do a power brake. Just pull and e-brake, put your left foot on a brake and dight foot on a gas. Rev it up and release teh brake. I was able to do it this way on a mazda. I went up all the way to 3rd gear - it was a tiptronic
