There are a ton of Hmong in Minnesota and Southern California. There were alot of Hmong people in Japan that I knew. It is sad they have to fight but they seem to have been holding them off for a while now. We need to arm the Tibetans!

 

Well what im trying to say is that, the hmong are still fighting for their lives in laos and what can we do about it? The hmong, in the US, have been trying to do something about it but it never seems to work out.

 

^ Exactly. What has happened to the Hmong has been an absolute travesty and a disgrace. People need to know what kind of things men in power are capable of so these events don't repeat themselves. The Veitnam War will go down as America's black spot in history until the end of it's existence. It really can't get much worse than Nam, although I think down the road people will see the second Iraq War is close to it.

 

Have you been back to Lao and what have the Hmong in the US been trying to help?

 

Been trying to help those that are still there through legislation, I presume. And it's "Laos."

 

No i havent, i would love to but i'm only 16 and i cant find the money to make it possible. I want to see how my parents and grand parents grew up. My parents are going to thailand this winter but now laos, and its my senior year in school so i want to focus on school. The hmongs are doing a lot of things to help. A few years back, there were many hmong from the refugee camps imigrating over to the U.S. But im not sure as of now if they are still doing it. Havent heard much from my parents for a few months now. Also there are many hmongs going back to laos and visiting them in the jungles. There are plenty of videos that they are selling at hmong oriental stores. There was a special on Discover Channel a while back about secret wars arond the word. It should be online somewhere.
