so i just bought me a new camera today its an olympus fe-280. its a super small camera to fit in my pocket. its 8mp and has 3x optical zoom. decent price.

what do you think about a few flower shots i just snapped in my backyard to test it out.

the first 2 are taken with the super macro mode on and no flash




this pic is of a different flower, but in just the auto mode with no flash.


sorry all i had is some flowers for decent colorful closeups. but its got the face detection feature, and the stabilization feature to reduce blurriness. has some cool features and its super easy to work.

so let me know what you think of the pics.

Get the Canon 40D IMO.

 

i agree. flash messes up anything. i always have it off for the most part

 

I didnt even know that they just released the 40D, ill have to look into that.

I was to get a SLR but I just don't want to spend the money. But once I get a real job ill get one for sure. I just got a new camera a little wile ago and it does the trick. Taking pictures is addicting, just capturing a moment in time.

 

nice pics. yeah flash for the most part isnt good, i pretty much never use it except in some daytime pics. canon>*. SLRs are fun to play with, esp when u have photoshop, sooo many things to do.
