What did you run and was that a 1/8 mile?

 

Yeah that was a 1/8 I don't know what I was running there was no lights.

 

I may have a faster 1/4 but you'd own me on the freeway (due to my close ratio gearing) Hope thats of some comfort [8D]

and no I dont want to race for pinks on the freeway lol

 

it also sounded like you missed a shift....

 

yeah..next time you go to the track, you should take a map...to help you find your gears...

anyway...what did it run? and what does that 'big bad gt" run?

i run a large mustang forum, and many GT guys wish that they had 500hp...define "bolt ons"...

 

I'm trying to get him to let me run it for him once or twice. I'll get him up here to Bristol this year if I can.

Yep Cutt, we live like 30-45 minutes from eachother

 

i want to know what he ran there..and the stang...it looks as though once the vette got moving, the stang didnt pul on him much more, if at all.

using a very crude method...the stang launched around 0:50 on the video, and hit his brakes around 1:03...Cutt launched right around 0:51, and hit the brakes around 1:04...so if this was an 1/8th mile track, they both ran well past that...and that stang doesnt appear to be that fast, but again, this is a very crude way of measuing...and i am only doing so for a rough ballpark ET.

 

Cutt said the lights were not on when that run took place, I think he said he was in the high 8's or low 9's in the 1/8th I could be wrong though.

God the new Vette's sound good, is it just me or do they sound nothing like the traditional Gen III GM V8
