hmm..odd.

even with my crude system of timing, you can see that they werw wide open for alot longer than 8 or 9 seconds..which leads me to believe that they were headed for the full 1/4...and is that bristol? i ran there 5 or 6 years ago, and i thought that it was a 1/4 track?

 

No thats not Bristol. Its a 1/8 but you can run close to a 1/4. I would say I prob run low 10's in 1/8 if I was guessing. The lights wasn't on it was just me and a few friends at little track that was closed for winter but the guy that owns it lets us go out there and play if we dont take alot of people with us. The things on the Mustang a no for sure are Good tires, exaust,headers, k&n filter and tube.

 

dude..low 10s in the 1/8th would only work out to like a high 15...my automatic stratus runs low 10s in the 8th..and its an NA V6 automatic..

 

Bristol is huge now, they have built the granstands up like crazy and it is nolonger concrete because they now host IHRA events as well as NHRA. Hold on there are a few Bristol vids on streetfire.

 

Well I don't know then I dont go to the track much and I dont want to set here and talk times like I know what am talking about because I don't. I ran a 1/4 a couple of times one night and was in the 13's I had a thread about it somewhere.

Hell I dont know I just grabbed it off streetfire, you think that is quick there is a guy in a 01 Firehawk that is daily driven in the high 8's down there. Also a 05 Mustang GT with a T88 running in the low 9's
