I knew I forgot to add something to that list at the bottom... I am planning on getting like a 50 or 60% tint. Not too dark, but still noticable.

you could also just use the simple argument that the car is loosing value for every mile it moves, every hour it sits on the driveway, etc. there is no way to regain/add value to the car unless you become (in)famous and even then you tend to loose the benefit of driving it.

so if your parents are too obstinant(sp?) to change their minds, buy it for yourself

Anyways... if he meant buy the lip kit myself... I already would. However, the problem is that my mother owns the car... not me. So, I need her permission to put anything on it.

I am 17... I just finished with my first job ever on Friday, and all I made from it the whole summer was about $1000. How the hell am I supposed to buy my car from my mom? She paid over $14,000 inculding waranty for it...

*giggle*

Besides... if I had that much money, I would just buy a civic which is already tricked out. =P
