sweet. Is that one of the older kits? then you should get an oil restrictor for the gt28r.

Some guys on td16 have had issues with their manifold cracking after a few years because the edelbrock downpipe doesn't have a flex pipe. Although, mine has not crack yet..... knocks on wood... maybe one of this days I'll get my lazy *** to get my flex pipe welded in

No its the newer 96-00 kit. T28 BB turbo. I am going to try and get a restrictor for it though.

I'm also going to see what I can do about getting a 3in exhaust for it even though the outlet on the elbow is only 2.5 ID, I havn't looked yet but I'm hoping I can find a flange for the turbo then just make my own downpipe.

so good luck Mobsta, looks like it'll be a solid build.

Well I took off the header and exhaust so I can sell it, I don't need them with a turbo setup... also took off the msd ignition and the ignition stuff I had laying around to replace it was from advance or autozone and they didn't work right. Misfired like a bitch and barely accelerated so I went to the stealership today and got new plugs, wires, dizzy cap, rotor, and I used a different igniter that I had laying around in my room, there was $150.89 I didn't want to spend...

Also I've been smelling something burning for about a week now on and off in my car and I finally figured it out yesterday. It was my nitrous solenoid. It shorted out and burnt up. So now I need another one and to rewire my entire nitrous system.

UPS damaged my wastegate when I got the kit shipped to me, I insured it up to $1,200 but they are going to fight me about it so I don't know how that will turn out yet. On a side note, I'm kind of confused about which turbo this is now. I used to think it was a T28 because Edelbrocks old site said that the 96-00 kit used a T28 turbo, and the 92-95 uses a GT28R but now that they have updated their site a lot it says that both kits use a GT28R.

This pretty much sums up how I feel about my car right now...
