Probably going to have a second map for nitrous and race gas that I will use at the drag strip. I'm going to talk to Jeff about it before I schedule my appointment for the tune.

I took some pictures tonight.

I'm trying to keep everything clean and organized but I'm not sure how well it will turn out.

I wanted to have it sleeved but it just comes down to how much money I can pull together. I want to be ready to race when summer starts but by the looks of things I might have to cut the build down to make that possible.

I revised the setup and added it to my first post. It's not really the setup I was hoping for, but I've gotta deal with the money I've got.

Got a lil update today. Yesterday I pulled off the oil screen, pump, right side cover, and the rest of the misc. parts that were bolted to the block (thermostat, pcv box etc).

I decided that a port and polish isn't going to make the budget cut but I am going to order crower springs and retainers in the next few days then clean up the head as best I can, check it for warpage, take the crower stage 1 cam out of the engine that is in the car now and put it in this head and that will pretty much be all that will be done with the head for this build.

The pictures should be a hell of a lot better now also. I got an amazing 7 mega pixel camera for x-mas today...

Yep, already got the paint for it. I will paint it after I get it back from the machine shop.

I spent about 5 hours in the garage today. I still have to clean the rocker arm assembly and I'm probably going to get new valves because these ones have a pretty thick layer of carbon on them that refuses to come off.
