The turbo also kicks in around 4500 rpm. The black gauge on the right is the oil temp... though I dont know how to read it. Marty, that black box hanging above the light socket is a boost controller.

 

I know it's nasty outside but if you could snap a pic of the oil temp gauge I can attempt to de code what ever it is that you dont understand.

Thats awesome Remmy! I had that same problem with my hood release. I never fixed it though. I just kept a pliers in the car. Sounds like you got yourself a good one!

 

The oilt temp is a greddy that goes from 1-10. On average it sits at 4 or 5. The car temp on average is about 3.5 8ths at all times so it is running very well.

Jesus this car is FAST. Its amazingly fast. I had a wrx try to keep up with me on this long stretch of bridge we have and he couldnt!!! Hopefuly monday or tuesday i can get it into a sho to be inspected to make sure eveything is fine. Im so scard im going to f it up though. I had my day of fun with it (going from 80- 110 in about 5 seconds!!!) now that I have most of it out im going to baby it.
