New VTEC, but it's not a car.
That's right, this summer I will have a new toy in the fleet. V-4 800cc Vtec motor: the Honda Interceptor.

Is it really a V4 or an I4?

It's really a V-4. You should hear one of these with an aftermarket exhaust, it sounds like a V-8 at full bore when you really turn it up. Bad ***, because people don't know what to think when they expect some whiney inline-4 bike to come howling by, but hear that instead.
Engine Type 781cc liquid-cooled 90-degree V-4
Bore and Stroke 72.0mm x 48.0mm
Compression Ratio 11.6:1
Valve Train VTEC DOHC; four valves per cylinder
Carburetion Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-FI) with automatic enricher circuit
Ignition Computer-controlled digital with three-dimensional mapping and electronic advance
