Sorry guys, I have to disagree with you on this. Possibly it is the memories of sea world and flipper that cause you to feel that way but the fact is that the Japanese have been doing this as their CULTURE for many times longer than America has been in existence...
How would you like Canada making a documentary on how obese americans are and have them control what foods you're allowed to eat. Or how about they bring back prohibition because so many drinking related accidents in cars... You should see what happens in Kumamoto Japan every September when they have their horse festival... it isnt a celebration of horses, I'll tell you that much.
AND one thing I have to question is the end where it says they sell the dolphin meat as whale meat... I just dont know about that. I've had both kujira (whale) and iruka (dolphin) and you'd have to be stupid to not tell what you're eating. I think they have mislead you on that a little bit.

I think the dolphins are killed the way they are is just like a hunter killing a deer. Dont they shoot them but cut their throats before they die so it can pump the blood out? Same thing with Greece and Italy killing lambs and goats for meat... We all like to eat things, but never want to know how it got on the plate... never had seal meat before... sounds weird... they look like sea cats.

Anyone ever been to a Cow slaughter house? They hit them in the head with a special hammer gun that knocks them out and makes them brain dead, they then slide down a shoot. they get hung by their hind legs. the slit their throats and let the blood drain out,

hey moog, i'm respect your opioins. weither it's wrong or not, thats how they were taught to do it. so they don't see it as being wrong or inhumaine. i mean i don't support it, but i mean it's been going on for a really long time.
