^^ our tdi aren't fast here in the states. but that vw is ok looking and they start at 15k, but if you want any options and stuff like that they end up being about 20k, which is SI territory

 

i think i read somewhere that those cars (maybe the top end model) are supercharged AND turbocharged.....one of them supplied the low-end power, and the other the high-end power...but they dont work at the same time....something signals which one to turn on....

 

no its just a regular inline 5, no forced induction whatsoever

 

I got such a good deal on my civic I went with it.. I love VWs and I've never had troubles with the ones I have owned... great company and the new design is classy

 

i like it. this may be a stupid question but, whats so bad with VW? My friend has one and hasn't any problems with his outside of the when they got rear ended.

 

they have gremlins, and little things always go wrong and it will nickel and dime you to death. common problems are door handles breaking, the rear brakes seize if you use the e-brake, tons of electrical problems on newer ones.

 

I will stick with my reliable honda.
