Nice, where did you get that plastic trunk liner? My system is always sliding around in the trunk.

 

well, its a civic cargo trunk mat that will run you 100$+ thru honda, luckily my stepbrother works there and snagged it up for free. i still have mine screwed in tho. get some little metal elbow plates, and screw em in, it will stop the slidage. <33

 

what did you screw it into? cause there is a hole there for the spare.

 

I installed a sub last week, the sub had holes to drill screws through so i didn't have to get an elbow. I jus put the sub where i wanted it and put the screw through the sheet metal. I guess you could drill and tap the holes but that is too much work for me. If there is an open hole you most likely can't put a screw there b/c it won't have any threads (unless you thread the hole, then get a matching bolt).

 

i have L brackets tht run from the top of my trunk down to top of the box. i got 2 12's and carpet lining and it wont move for anything. oh yea and the brackets r made out of aluminum so they wont bend either

i just screwed mine straight into the trunk
get some short screws and screw it straight into the plywood lots of em have. ^^ it works.

 

I really didnt feeel like drilling a hole in my trunk so I went to home depot and they sell this rug thing so that stuff doesnt slide around on rugs. Worked great exept for the color of it (white on a gray rug in the trunk)
