I want one of them damn RC cars. They probably cost more then my house though cuz I know just a regular gas powered nitro RC can run you more then $500 for a nicely modded one. I can't imagine one that is set up to drift. I imagine they have front and rear brake controls on the controllers also.

I used to be really into RC cars not long ago. I have a 1:10 scale electric buggy, and 1:10 electric Monster truck with full independent suspension and 8 shocks, and a nitro version of the monster truck with an automatic 2-speed tranny. My nitro one can go something like 40 mph. It looks like those drifters on the video are electric, but nitro on-road cars like that can hit 80 mph no problem, some 100mph. No joke. They also have 1:5 scale cars that run on gasoline with basically a weed wacker engine but a whole lot faster. I got my nitro one for $250 used with everything I needed to run it. Look on ebay to find some mildly modded ones for a decent price.
Like someone else said, it looks like they just have different tires than on-road racing cars, plus a higher rpm motor to get the wheels spinning. Makes me want to go pull out my cars, but then I remembered they're broken. Definitely an expensive hobby, but that's like everything I do/have done...rc cars, rc planes, guitar, bmx, cars...
