Re-tooled or not it is a beast. Look I am not going to sit here and try to get people to like the car but I do think the car has earned it's respect and rightfull place in the books as a very very valid effort for a domestic company to get into the sport compact market.

^ if they would of came out with the srt-4 first and skipped the neon i think there would be alot less hassal on them, but i no this guy at my work and he thinks the world of dodge srt-4, he thinks nothing can beat them and all other cars are crap, this one time he was dissing honda and i was soooo about to freak out (hes a older tow truck driver) but i pretended not to hear and i didn't want to start anything considering i work with him..but man him and his daughter are the same, they have a dodge mini van for the wife, and 2 dodge neons for them..no offence agenst dodge, cuz i always wanted a dirango or a viper when i was little and my dad wants to buy a viper..but it pisses me off the way they put down everything else

That is not Dodge's fault, forget the owners for a second and focus on the specs and tech. aspect of the car and I promis if you are a true enthusiest you will no doubt respect it.

Because it is not honda's way of doing things. Honda is a N/A company w/o a doubt and I myself like that. I have had boosted civic's(2 of them) and with the first one I was dyno'ing at 270 or so whp and 220wtq. If I could have got my hands on a K20 and went all motor with it I would have.
Asfar as the SRT4 you cant not argue about the power for the buck

I agree, they should stick with the n/a thing... but I think they should put some thought into upping the toque output on their cars... it's where we civic owners get murdered....

btw-if they killed off the neon, what are they replacing it with? sorry, but i don't stay hip with domestic news.

something wrong with the link, but [sm=sigh.gif] why, just because it was well recieved on the Rams a few years back, does Dodge insist on that dropped fender look on EVERYTHING! it looks like crap on most everything they have it on now.
