Default Why is royal purple awesome???

I thought this was pretty cool. I've been using royal purple for a long time in any car I build, I found this vid and thought I'd share the amazing power of purple with you guys.

I watched that on Youtube a few months back. After I seen that, and other stuff compared to conventional.. I just felt so dirty using conventional oil in my car, now I use nothing but synthetic.

..Even if it costs me $40 to change my oil now, instead of $20. But it sure is worth it, and not having to change it at 3,000 miles. I change mine at 5,000 just to be safe.

I have hopped on RP's bandwagon. Was running mobil 1 or pennzoil synthetic, whichever was available, but I'll stay with RP. I've only heard good things about RP even though it's expensive.

I do the same, 5000 miles. A little more expensive than penzoil but I think it's more than worth it. You figure most people will go to a dealer or even a jiffy lube and get a $30-75 oil change. (if it's synthetic) and I only need 4 quarts of purple at $7.50 ea + $4 for a filter= $34. I get the piece of mind knowing that my oil plug or filter isn't going to fall out, and I inspect my own car instead of having some pep-boys nerd telling me what my car needs. and I still make out like a bandit.

yea that's the thing is if you get royal purple and do it yourself, you're still paying less than the average person who gets the shop to do it... and the shop uses cheap oil.

I'm convinced! I'm switching over next week when I change my oil. That video is not a real accurrate test of how an engine will not wear as much by using RP. But it's definitely better than the competition.
