Also, I'm not delusional, I dont' think I'll be gaining performance. But I will be turbocharging my 08, and I would rather put the few extra dollars in my engine to protect it better from the extra wear and tear i'll be putting on my car witht he turbo in it. I like peace of mind.

But like they said, it's just preference.

i'm only paying like 2 dollars more for 4 quarts of Royal Purple than 4 quarts of Mobil1.

I think i'll pay the extra 2 bucks per oil change for RP than Mobil1. I buy it because i'm getting RP for a good deal, why not buy it?

 

Hey, if you're getting that good of a deal on the stuff, and it helps you sleep at night, more power to ya!

But preaching its crazy awesomeness to every newb that comes on asking about Oil stops here. Know your facts before convicing these people to go out and break the bank on the uneccesary expensive stuff.

 

Who's convincing? I was just stating why I like RP. I'm not trying to be a poster boy for them. I found an interesting video and I thought I'd share it. isnt that the point of a forum?

 

I think it used to cost more, but im pretty sure the price went down now. Its not that expensive over other synthetic oils.

 

whats a better oil filter than mobile 1?...cuz im using mobile 1 w/ RP i hope thats a good combo...is there a rp oil filter too?

 

i use a k&n oil filter. idk if there's much difference though

 

I use K&N filter also. RP+K&N FTW! lol just my opinion
