Back on Topic, peep the new living room comfies!!!! Dual reclining sofas from Art Van, awesome. Seriously, kick back in one of the recliners with a warm blanket and you're OUT in no time, lol





and we picked up a new entertainment center. I was always a bit uneasy about my $1000 tv sitting on top of $20 worth of ****ty korean materials

 

switch the couches, the other one needs to be in front of the tv.

 

Tony, I can still see your CRT monitor man... do you want an LCD monitor?

 

Might try that eventually, we'll see. We have a dog that loves nothing more than curling up in between the wife and I on the couch which is why they're setup the way they are.

TV is a plasma so it doesn't get darker when viewing from the side like most LCD's. I still rock the theatre sofa quite often.


Gene, I'd love one, got an extra?

 

Alright, we've got some more changes to post up..

First is one of our Spare Bedrooms, the only one we actually use for guests (the others are a workout room and a music room). As you can see from the following "before" pics, this was yet another blast from the 70's room that reeked of old people.



Lori wanted to experiment with light blue.... it didn't go over well lol


Honestly... I don't care if you're a hundred years old, who thinks that this looks "good?!"




And heres how she sits now. Soft shade of yellow on the walls, Lori's custom made curtains, white trim, and new carpet. We'll need some end tables eventually but for now it's cool as is.







It's hard to get the color right in the pics, but it's really light.


We're calling this room "done for now." It will eventually be a master suite, but we've got to redo the bathroom next to it before that can happen. Picture dual connected closets, full suite bathroom, and sliding glass doors to the back patio. In due time..

 

Then theres the living room, which is now officially 110% more manly.

Center channel will eventually be mounted above the tv and behind the plane of my front speakers. The shelf in the pic just isn't beefy enough to hold the CC-2 (thing weighs like 15lbs, lol)

Definitely needs a powered subwoofer, which I told Lori, and received a disgusted *sigh* and extreme eye roll . Probably shoot for mid-january when that stuff all goes on sale prior to or just after CES.

 

Damn y'all did wonders with the spare bedroom man it was HIDEOUS before and its actually very nice now, good job! And those speakers are enormous lmao

 

they are pretty retarded, haha. To put it into perspective, that is a 50" tv. I ****in LOVE over-kill

As for the hideous before pics, couldn't agree more.. Pretty much the entire house was like that when we moved in. Just trying to get them all done, one room at a time.
