Plans are already in the works. Hardwood Floors with nice dark counter tops. We haven't decided on the wall or cabinet colors yet cause we want to see what will flow nicely with the floors and counter tops. The walls will be a dark tone of some sort, and the cabinets will be a lighter tone of the wall color so they really pop. I might even refinish them, depends on how nice the wood is.


You read my mind bro Once we're in and settled, and we've made some of the minor changes, there will definitely be a house warming kegger.



Thanks bro! ANSI or "livable" square footage is about 1450sqft. But that doesnt include the garage, or storage areas.

Would you believe that this house is about 50 years NEWER than the rest we looked at? Theres a LOT of old places in this area.



Oh, and Byers, we're going to get the card, but we're getting it from Lowes. We've been through both places, thoroughly, in the last couple weeks and Lowes seems to have better deals all around.

 

Lowes does but I find that Home Depot knows what the hell they are talking about. I had a guy at lowes advise me to use plywood over MDF for friggin subwoofer box building [&:]

 

How are you gonna make it into a 2 stall garage? Wouldn't you have to rebuild it? But then you can get a lift, which would be sick as hell. I think they run like 3k. But congrats on the house.

not in my town. in fact, north carolina is the corporate home of lowes, but you couldn't tell that by the service (or lack of it) in my hometown.
