We're saving that for our next place. We won't be here for more than 5 years.

 

thats how we are too. this one is a jumping point to a much nicer one. But Im loving this one for now, just wishing i had more time and money to spend on it. you have no idea how tempting it is to buy stuff for it when you get expensive stuff for cheap. but cheap prices for a nice new kitchen could still be 10-20k

 

Yeah man it adds up really fast. We had to slow down a bit because we were spending money like crazy when we first got the place.

We're hoping to make a buck or two on the resale of this place, then we'll upgrade to something better, and more permanent.

 

I wont be buying a home anytime soon. Ive spent too much $$ on my car and now forced to live in it to get every nickel out of it as possible.

 

Whew, it's been a while since I've updated this thread. We're still plugging away on the remodeling and making decent progress.

The master bedroom will be officially done this weekend when I paint the ceiling. But heres what its looking like now..

Garage now. We're adding a car port onto the side of it pretty soon, and during that time I will probably do a lot of interior work to the garage as well. Build some nice storage racks, a work bench, cabinets, etc..

As for the bedroom color, we use black curtians to make sure not ONE OUNCE of light shows through, so it's pitch black in there with the lights off, perfect for sleepin!
