If you ask me, that's not stupid at all.

It's a 4x2 with about 162k on it. 3.0's are supposed to last forever if you take care of them. In the year I've had it it's never had any problems. It's manual windows and locks, with cold, freshly recharged/converted AC. I'm in the middle of wetsanding/ buffing it and what not cause the paint on the bed was oxidized but it's turnin out pretty good. It does need a new windshield and that will cost about 150 or so to install. The dash has a crack in it also, not to big though. It's got pretty clean interior. I'm lookin to get $1600 for it when I sell it after I get something else. So I'd say $3000 ontop with a reparied windshield. It has a glasspack instead of the muffler but it's not loud. To me it's got a nice sound to it.

Thought I would add, It always starts right up, has new plugs and wires and also I changed the oil when I got it and then after about 1000 city miles, yeah early but it was kinda dirty lookin so I figgured wouldn't hurt.

 

where are you located? i have a local guy coming over in the morning to look at it, if he don't buy it and if it doesn't sell on ebay. i'll probably do it!

 

Hour and a half west of springfield. if neither the guy or ebay goes we'll have to see.

he didn't bring enough money.... i won't know forsure until tomorrow, he's gonna call the bank and see if he can get a loan and then he'll let me know.

 

Here's my prediction. He calls, gets a loan and buys the car. The reason that is my prediction is because every car I find for sale that I'm interested in, gets sold. Gah I'm never gonna find a manual it seems like.
