relay cable? WHAT???????

what you mean? just a relay... you can buy those at most places.... 12volt relay.. BUT if you mean the BALLAST then thats not cheap!

oznium.com has replacement ballats and bulbs BUT for the cost of it... id sugest just buying the whole new kit.... cheaper that way at least...
that way ya have 3 extra good parts

also CHECK the bulb or ballast on the GOOD HID side... i had my bulb go bad and for SOME REASON the bulb still LITE UP so i thought it was the ballast... got a replacement one cause of the 1years warente.. BUT found out it was the bulb after geting the new ballast
its just odd if ya ask me... the bulb still lites up shortly BUT the bulb is bad... odd..........

I just bought my HID's. Recieved them last week. (:
The problem i have with them is that only 1 of them lights up, and the other one doesn't.
At first, only 1 lit up and the other one flickered and then turned off. So i asked my friend (who owns
hid's as well) about it and he said i needed a relay because my car won't support the hid's.

ive seen some relays on ebay... they're like 20 bucks.

a 12volt relay is just power.... ya dont realy need it...

ive had my hids on my stock wiring for quite some time now... no problems...
you need that ballast replaced.....
if youve tried both ballats and bulbs you can see what is realy bad... and just exchange that bad part and you should be fine....

ya but ya shouldnt need a relay.... only time you NEED to use a relay is when using those WANNA BE HID bulbs! that arent real HIDs but just high power bulbs!
most people that use HIDs dont use relays simple way to test out if ya need them or not is turn them ON and just feel the stock wires... if they feel like they are geting warm or hot then id use a relay BUT mine feel normal so i dont use a relay!

but as long as youve tested both bulbs and ballasts to be SURE which part is bad just return that part for a replacement part if the seller will warrenty it....

heres what my bad bulb looked like... tho at first it would just GO OUT after being lite for a bit... or light up and then dim out... BUT when i got the new ballast it jsut did this like two short dim flashes and nothing...

very odd... YOUD THINK if they bulb had light it would be fine.... NOPE mine was the bulb...
