Default how to handle this?

well, i had an accident w/ my civic about a month ago and i finally got a check for the damage. the car was totaled but i decided to buy it back. my question is, since i decided to keep the car, doesn't that mean the title should have arrived w/ the check stamped salvage. i'm calling them tomorrow but i just wanted to know if any of u have dealt w/ this before.

Default RE: how to handle this?

title has to go through DoT im pretty sure.. i came close to getting to buy mine back.. insurance explained that the title first has to clear through in my case PennDot then it would get mailed.. but you may have to go to them and get the title outright.. didnt see Marty post.. he dealt with something similar as well i believe unless his was paid for already.. but if your state works as slow as mine it took near 2 months just to get my registration .. slow azz ****'s
