Eve and I just bought another new desktop to replace our outdated one! It is a gateway and we got it at costco and it is really nice with abig monitor and a tv tuner... anyways I am having problems with vista because when I put my mouse over the text areas on this forum or skype... anywhere there is typing, the mouse becomes unable to see, but still it can function... I am typing this on explorer but on firefox it has the same problem...

 

Thats windows for ya..... Just kidding, look it it up on a tech archive on the net i'm sure there is someone to help you. It's probably and option under the settings you can turn on and off.

 

thats why im not going to update till next year or year and a half, i have a feeling that vista is going to be like windows ME, som im gonna wait till they have it debugged/ orsee if its really worth it

I have Vista Ultimate. No problems as of yet, but i loaded it on my newly built computer that run me almost $4,600.

Hey projectGSR... so you have no problems with ultimate? I have the home premium and my mouse dissappears over any text... is it a feature or a flaw, do you think? This computer has everything we need but only costed 1200 at costco! Really happy with it. It is a dual core VIIV.

 

my girlfriend has vista on her laptop. no problems with it yet. i think that i am going to get it when been out for a while.
