Will a 1.5" drop affect my car much hieght wise

yea it will look alot better. most wheel gap wont be there anymore and with most springs that drop, you can put them on stock shocks/struts.

Yeah dude, it will look fresh. i just got my car lowered 1.5 inches and it handles alot better and looks clean. But make sure u get new struts cause i put my springs on my stock struts and one is now leaking.
