you don't want them.

your ride will get a lot bumpier, and your speedo and odometer will be off by a lot

It's pointless

^^ what he said. If you want a lower profile tire, go for a larger rim. ex: 205/40/16

gotta love huge wheels and rubber bands

Huge wheels and tiny tires are so pointless... I'd rather have a nice looking 14" or 15" wheel with tall tires than have a 17" wheel and next to no tire. And I know how both feel... you don't want small sidewalls. Not that I think you're actually going to listen to sound advice.

And even if you want to get technical, smaller sidewalls don't always equate to better handling. A tire with a taller sidewall but better designed tread blocks will handle better than a tire with a short, stiff sidewall and poorly designed tread blocks. Besides, the handling gained or lost by changing sidewall height a few inches won't be felt by an amateur driver. And by the way, I consider everyone here on hcf amateur drivers

hate to tell you but the reason you won't find the tires you're looking for is because it's stupid

and seriously... you live in NY, and you want less sidewall? So what are you going to do when you drive through your daily pothole?
