Default 17"s too big w/ tien springs?

i thought getting 17" rims would make my ride look uber aggressive. but sources say that it might be too big or might not fit and cause rubbing.

should i go with 16's?

return the tien springs?

my ride is a 00 civic btw.

As long as they are the correct offset and size of tire you'll be fine.

yeah just make sure the offset is right

and with Tein springs, you should be alright. S-Techs and H-Techs both give a 1"-2" drop, so you wont have any wheel tuck, and really thast the only time you have to worry about rubbing. Might have to worry about scraping on speed bumps and stuff, but the drop will look really good with the spring and the 17" rims (with no wheel gap )

I have s-tech with 17" rims and 205/40 tires. Great ride, no rub..even over some big bumps. Fills in the gap great. More pics in my gallery.

seriously? even over speed bumps you dont have a problem with your tein drop ?

how low did you go? and i noticed a lip kit ... no problems climbing curbs or going through asphault holes?

im only asking cause i live in the city. alot of curbs and speed bumps and whatnot.

Really man, no problems. Im not going to guarantee you anything, because I dont no whats around were you live, but Iv been over speed bumps and some pretty rough pot holes and never had a problem. And thats with the lip kit which lowers it about a inch more in the front.
