i have 205/40/17's on my 17" rims and i rub a little when i have people in the car. i only rub against the fender liner which is plastic and the tires are fine. i'm dropped maybe 1.5", not sure since it was this height when i bought it.

 

im runnin 215 45 17's dropped almost 2 inches with stock (blown lol) shocks....and they only rub with 3 ppl in the car or taking off ramps goin like 70........and the rubbing is very minimal. Im gonna get some new shocks and S techs and i dont think they will rub anymore
