Default 17 wheels and tires 01 ex

I have a 2001 honda civic ex, it is eternal blue, I have the factory 15 inch hubcap wheels on there, I am wanting to go to a 17 inch wheel with 215/45R-17 tire, will that be a good ride quality, and will it rub at all, if that tire size is not good, let me know what is for the best ride quality and appearance.

Default RE: 17 wheels and tires 01 ex

on my 99 (which is a dif. generation, slightly smaller than yours), i have 205/40/17s, which are just a little bit bigger than stock and i dont have any rubbing issues (close thouhg w/ my Tein S-Techs). 215's would probably be just fine on your 7th gen though. 45 sidewalls are gonna ride just a little bit better than my 40's, and i definitely wish i had that. Rides suffers considerably with my tires. Hope i helped a bit.
