1996 civic saloon brakes
car is as above with 1.5 lsi engine, wanna but bigger discs on front what car can i take from and jus bolt on
also drum to disc conversion for the rear worth the effort ? also what car can i take everything off and again jus bolt on
main reason for the idea have 17''rims and small brakes look **** and live 5 mins from a track so hittin that is inevitable so wanna be able to stop !

I don't know much about brake swaps but you might want to seek out Ron J, he's pretty good with all kinds of technical aspects relating to civics.

not sure about the brake swap but you really have no reason to hit up a track if you have 17" rims... your times are going to be bad due to the weight of the rims. Also, if you're worried about stopping, I don't understand why you have 17" rims, those hurt your stopping power.
honestly, if you're not making a bunch of power then you're better off just getting nice rotors and pads instead of upgrading on size. The rear brake swap will be worth it though. Brakes off a 99-00 Si will work. In your situation I would get Brembo blank rotors and Hawk HPS pads. Seems to be a good combo.
Really though, a better thing to invest in than either would be some smaller, more practical rims, such as 15's. Your stopping power and acceleration will increase.
