215/60R15 on a 97 Honda Civic HX
I'm gonna have to say those are too big.
They have a diameter of 25.2" and are at least 8.46" wide
The correct 15" tire size is a 195/55/15 (or optional 205/50/15)
195/55/15 have a 23.4" diameter and are at least 7.67" wide
205/50/15 have a 23.1" diameter and are at least 8.06" wide (205 is pretty much the widest you should go)

I've seen 245/35-16's on an EK. Care to explain how that won't fit?

OP, what offset wheels do you have? It's perfectly possible to run that tire size, but it require a little more work to fit properly than one of the sizes trust posted.

If yes, how much?
If it rubs while making a normal turn, then in my book they don't "fit". Sure, they technically fit on the car, but they don't fit when you're using it.
According to the owner, it rubs at full lock. As someone who's had a car lower than that, I can assure you even the stock wheels rub at full lock when a civic is that low. So by that logic, the stock 14's don't fit on a car that low.
Tire/wheel fitment is all about setup; wheel measurements, tire measurements, rolled fenders, camber angle, etc. Also, keep in mind the OP probably won't have his car that low, so making the tire fit without rubbing will be a lot easier.

Anyway, we both know that the OPs tires probably won't fit (or fit very well at all) because the sidewall is too high
Even a 205mm wide tire rubs the inner wheel well when you're low enough... my old civic has the scars to prove it
Anyway, since the OP doesn't seem to come back, shall we continue the discussion?
Are you also taking wheel offset and wheel width into account? A 205mm tire stretched over an 8" wheel will obviously have different fitment characteristics than a 205mm tire on a 7" wheel. Also, keep in mind that a 205-series tire does not actually have tread 205mm wide. It's 205mm wide at the widest point, which is rarely the tread width.
(and I shouldn't have to tell you by now, but just in case... don't take offense to what I'm saying... I'm just bored and feel like having a discussion lol)
