225/40/18 95 Civic Dx
So i read a little bit here and my basic question is this. If i get a coilover kit for my 95 civic will my tires on my new 18 inch rims not rub when i turn sharp or hit bumps? I kept looking at coilover kits and they always say the lower the car. Is it a stiffer spring or can i actually raise the ride height a little? Im pretty new to all of this so any simple answer is nice or links to items that would suit my purpose. Thanks,Flip
i will say they will rub, my stock 195/64/15's rub on my car if im going slow and turning really sharp. (the faster you go the less you have to turn the wheel) so id will have to say your going to rub.
I understand and have found out first hand they are to big. What I would like to know is what I need to do to get them to fit and for my car to handle and ride nice. I would also like to make it ride lower but still not rub as bad. I just need to know what items i should buy first to make this happen. Thanks,Flip
those are big wheels, they will rub man, and that wont be a very comfrotable ride on a daily driver. Lowering it might look okay, but again its probably not a good idea for a DD.

Ok sooo...Without the handle/ride nice. What can I do to make these rims fit on my car? Lets just say screw everything else...lets go for looks. What can I buy that will make these rims fit and look nice? Thanks,Flip
coilovers that offer a pretty big drop will make it look better, and even lower profile tires will be better too, but 18"s on a 95 civic in general is REALLY big and will be hard to make it look natural.
